View Radiology Technical Support →
Do you provide nationwide remote radiology IT support?

Yes. Texel Comp provides nationwide remote technical support for radiologists, teleradiology groups, imaging centers, and healthcare organizations. We can troubleshoot approved workstation, diagnostic-display, graphics-card, driver, calibration-software, peripheral, and multi-monitor issues without requiring an on-site visit for every problem.

What radiology IT problems can usually be handled remotely?

Many workstation-performance, display-detection, resolution, screen-arrangement, graphics-driver, calibration-software, Windows, peripheral, and workstation-side connectivity problems can be investigated remotely. Hardware replacement, cabling inside a facility, server-side changes, or work controlled by another vendor may require local staff or vendor coordination.

Do you provide after-hours or emergency radiology support?

Yes. After-hours options are available when a workstation, display, graphics, or related reading-room problem interrupts work outside normal business hours. Availability, response expectations, pricing, and the authorized scope are confirmed through the Emergency Radiology IT Support request process.

Can Texel Comp support equipment that was purchased elsewhere?

Yes, when the equipment and issue fall within a supportable scope. Texel Comp can review existing workstations, displays, graphics cards, calibration applications, and peripherals even when we did not originally supply them. Model details, access, licensing, warranty status, and third-party restrictions may affect the available service.

How are remote access, authorization, and patient information handled?

Remote work is coordinated with customer authorization and the facility's privacy, security, and access requirements. Do not send patient information, PHI, passwords, or remote-access codes through general website forms or ordinary email. The customer remains responsible for approving access, user accounts, internal policies, and any required vendor or IT coordination.

Explore Radiology Workstations →
What types of radiology workstations do you support?

We support professional radiology and teleradiology workstations used for PACS access, diagnostic interpretation, mammography, multimodality imaging, advanced visualization, and remote reading. Support may cover Dell, HP, Lenovo, custom professional systems, and compatible mobile workstations, depending on the hardware, operating system, application, and display environment.

Can you configure a complete home radiology workstation?

Yes. Texel Comp can help plan the workstation, diagnostic displays, side monitors, graphics path, memory, storage, Windows edition, docking or peripheral requirements, cables, mounts, and screen layout. The final configuration is based on the reader's modality, PACS or viewer, display models, study volume, location, and facility requirements.

Can you upgrade a radiology workstation to Windows 11 Pro?

Potentially, after compatibility review. The processor and platform, TPM and security settings, graphics or display controller, diagnostic displays, calibration software, PACS or viewer, dictation tools, VPN, peripherals, and vendor requirements should be checked before the upgrade. Compatibility must be confirmed for the specific environment rather than assumed from Windows eligibility alone.

Can a laptop be used for teleradiology reading?

A professional mobile workstation can support parts of a teleradiology workflow, but its built-in screen is not automatically suitable for primary diagnostic interpretation. External diagnostic displays, the dock or graphics output path, calibration, application requirements, facility policy, and responsible clinical approval must all be addressed for the intended use.

Does Texel Comp install or license the PACS and radiology viewer?

PACS and viewer licensing, deployment responsibility, validation, and support are normally controlled by the customer and software vendor. Texel Comp can prepare agreed workstation hardware and assist with authorized workstation-side requirements, but vendor installation, credentials, server changes, licensing, and clinical validation must be confirmed separately.

03 Diagnostic Imaging Displays

Displays, Mammography & Calibration

Common questions about Barco, EIZO, and LG displays, FDA clearance, mammography environments, calibration platforms, and quality-control issues.

Explore Medical Display Monitors →
Do you sell diagnostic medical displays?

Yes. Texel Comp supplies diagnostic and clinical-review displays from established manufacturers, including Barco, EIZO RadiForce, and LG Medical. Options may include grayscale, color, fusion, mammography, general-radiology, and side displays. The exact model is selected according to intended use, resolution, luminance, calibration environment, connectivity, and budget.

Are the diagnostic displays FDA-cleared?

Some diagnostic displays we supply have FDA 510(k) clearance for specified intended uses. Clearance and labeling vary by exact model, so Texel Comp confirms manufacturer documentation for quoted equipment and recommends verifying the specific device and intended use in the official FDA 510(k) database.

Do you support mammography workstations and displays?

Yes. We can assist with compatible workstation, graphics, 5MP or 12MP display, multi-monitor, and calibration-software requirements for mammography reading environments. Exact model suitability, intended use, facility policy, quality-control procedures, medical-physicist requirements, and applicable regulatory responsibilities must be confirmed by the responsible organization and qualified professionals.

Which medical-display calibration platforms do you support?

We work with common medical-display calibration and quality-control environments such as Barco QAWeb Enterprise, EIZO RadiCS, LG calibration solutions, and compatible third-party platforms. Supported functions depend on the exact display, sensor, software version, operating system, licensing, network requirements, and manufacturer documentation.

Can you troubleshoot calibration failures or sensor problems?

Yes. We can investigate software communication failures, missing displays, sensor-detection problems, driver or service issues, test failures, target-setting concerns, and configuration conflicts. Technical troubleshooting does not replace the facility's required QA program, acceptance testing, medical-physicist evaluation, manufacturer procedures, or clinical and regulatory responsibilities.

04 Display Paths & Connections

Graphics, Multi-Monitor & Connectivity

Answers about professional GPUs, medical display controllers, screen detection, KVM devices, docks, adapters, and workstation-side connectivity.

Explore Medical Imaging Graphics →
Can you troubleshoot multi-monitor and graphics-card problems?

Yes. Texel Comp can investigate missing screens, incorrect resolution, unstable detection, screen-arrangement problems, driver conflicts, DisplayPort issues, cable or adapter concerns, and output limitations. We work with supported Barco MXRT, NVIDIA RTX, AMD professional graphics, and other compatible display paths.

How do you choose the correct graphics card or display controller?

Selection starts with the exact monitor models, number of displays, native resolutions, connector types, PACS or viewer, calibration platform, modality, chassis, power supply, operating system, and vendor requirements. A card is recommended only after the complete output path and compatibility requirements are reviewed.

Do you support KVM switches, docking stations, and display adapters?

We can review and troubleshoot many KVM, docking, USB, DisplayPort, and adapter configurations. Compatibility depends on resolution, bandwidth, EDID handling, power delivery, USB requirements, graphics drivers, display-controller restrictions, and the exact hardware path. Some diagnostic display configurations require direct connections or manufacturer-supported components.

Can you help with PACS, DICOM, VPN, or network connectivity?

We can investigate authorized workstation-side configuration and connectivity, including local adapters, Windows settings, approved client software, and symptoms affecting the reading station. PACS servers, DICOM routing, VPN infrastructure, firewall rules, credentials, or enterprise network changes may require the facility's IT team, security team, or software vendor.

05 Equipment & Project Planning

Quotes, Warranty & Next Steps

What to expect when selecting equipment, reviewing a custom quote, confirming warranty and delivery, or requesting ongoing support.

Contact Texel Comp →
Can you help us choose the correct workstation, display, or graphics card?

Yes. We review the modality, PACS or viewer, study volume, display models and count, calibration environment, background applications, physical space, quantity, location, timeline, and budget before recommending equipment. This reduces compatibility risk and helps avoid paying for components that do not benefit the intended workflow.

Do your products include warranties?

Warranty coverage depends on the exact manufacturer, model, part number, product condition, distributor or seller, and selected service option. The applicable manufacturer or seller coverage, exclusions, and any available extended options are identified in the written Texel Comp quote before purchase.

What information will the equipment quote include?

The quote identifies the exact equipment or configuration, condition, included components, preparation scope, warranty or coverage, pricing, availability, expected lead time, shipping, assumptions, exclusions, and payment terms. Inventory and delivery estimates are confirmed for the specific project rather than presented as universal promises.

Do you offer installation and ongoing technical support?

Yes. Depending on the written scope, Texel Comp can assist with workstation preparation, component installation, display setup, drivers, calibration software, multi-monitor configuration, peripherals, and ongoing remote troubleshooting. Scheduled on-site service may be available in the Houston area by prior arrangement.

How can I request support or a product recommendation?

Use the Texel Comp contact page and provide your organization, workstation model, display models and count, graphics card or controller, operating system, PACS or viewer, issue or project goal, quantity, location, and timeline. Do not include patient information, PHI, passwords, or remote-access credentials in the form.

Before You Submit a Support Request

Please do not submit patient information, PHI, passwords, remote-access codes, license keys, or screenshots containing patient data through the website form or ordinary email. Start with equipment models, software names and versions, operating system, the exact error message, and a general description of the issue.
